Andarosa Apartment is based in a prime beachside location in Puerto Duquesa, between Gibraltar and Malaga airports.It is an ideal base for any holidaymaker, and everything is close at hand. The port of La Duquesa is within walking distance and the lovely marina is full of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes.

Within the marina there are cafes,bars, boutiques,restaurants,supermarket, butcher, and a bank. There is also full marina services and a business centre. Within walking distance of the apartment can be found the Duquesa golf course.

There are no high rise hotels or apartment blocks in the area, which has helped to maintain it's charm and it's character. The blue flag sandy beach stretches past Sabanillas to Estepona.  On the other side it winds along the coast to the well known resort of Sotogrande. The Duquesa waterfront is closed to traffic making it safe for families.

This area has excellent facilities for both families and couples looking for a relaxing holiday, and for golfers with some of the best golf courses in Europe.

There are many excellent golf courses on the coast including Valderrama - host of the Ryder Cup and World Championship, Alcaidesa - a Links course overlooking the rock of Gibraltar,Sotogrande - a parkland course, San Roque and Almenara all  within 20 Kilometres of the apartment  If you head in the direction of Marbella, you will find a further selection of fantastic golf courses such as Los Naranjos, Santa Clara, Monte Mayor, La Quinta, Rio Real and many others

The apartment has been furnished to a very high standard and has been lovingly maintained in order to make your stay comfortable

The  beach front apartment consists of 2 bedrooms , the master bedroom is ensuite. Both bedrooms have zip and link beds and can be made into single beds.There is lots of wardrobe and cupboard space and a hairdryer is supplied.

There are 2 bathrooms , one ensuite with a bath, shower and bidet and the other with a shower.

The modern kitchen is fully kitted out including a oven,hob, extractor, fridge/freezer,dishwasher and a microwave. There is a separate laundry with a washing machine and ironing facilities.

The lounge has satellite TV that receives Spanish and all the English terrestrial channels, DVD player & a CD player. The large sofa converts to a double bed.

There are facilities to dine either indoors on the stylish dining table and chairs or relax outdoors under the sun on the patio table and chairs on the balcony

The apartment has a full air con/ heating system with digital temp control. There is also a safe for your convenience in the master bedroom.

The complex has 24 hour manned security, and entrance to the garage is by a remote control which is provided with your keys.

The lift connects the apartment with the underground car park and the lobby. The complex and apartment are wheelchair friendly.

 

The complex has 4 separate swimming pools, paddle tennis, table tennis, sauna and a gym.


The pool area has direct access to the beach, and sun loungers are provided  around the pool area.

The apartment is on the second floor and overlooks the sea and benefits from having the sun on the terrace for most of the day

Linen and towels are provided - beach towels are not supplied

Golf in the Puerta Duquesa and Costa del Sol area

For golfers, the La Duquesa Golf Course is just across the road, and many other excellent courses are nearby

The Costa del Sol is known by many as the Costa del Golf - not that it is expensive but there are so many courses of all levels which will suit all golf enthusiasts and every golf course is special and different in it's own way.

Due to the micro climate in the Costa del sol and that there are approx 320 days of sunshine this is probably the best place in Europe for golf and a hell of a lot of golfing days !


How to get there

There are many airlines that operate flights from the UK to the Costa del Sol nowadays flying into the nearest airports - Malaga and Gibraltar, and with many budget airlines the cost is relatively low.

Although taxis are readily available from both Malaga and Gibraltar, you may prefer to hire a car for the duration of your holiday or just for a day.

There are many companies throughout the Costa who supply car hire services at both La Linea ( the Spanish side of Gibraltar airport ) and Malaga airport.
